Melody Clarke has over 18 years of direct clinical experience and 10 years of experience in administrative, development, and management experience in ancillary and outpatient services.  Melody’s specialty focuses on turn around operations, strategic planning, and implementation of new revenue service lines for hospital and physician practices.  Her background includes start up physician practices, wound center development with hyperbaric, vascular lab, clinical lab development, sleep lab, and ASC development and operations.  

In addition to her development and operational experience, Melody also has extensive experience in negotiation of managed care contracts and building strong relationships with payers.  Melody serves as a consultant resource for several clients related to obtaining and maintaining accreditation and regulatory compliance with JCAHO/AAAHC, OSHA, and CMS.  Melody’s key strengths include physician communication and alignment with organizational goals.

She has been recognized as one of the top 50 Administrators to know by Beckers ASC Review 2008, 2009, and 2010.  She has published numerous articles related to the professional trade and has co-authored “Finance and Accounting for ASC’s” (2^nd edition).  Melody is a national speaker and expert related to health care organization turn-around, materials management, benchmarking and strategic planning, budget development, and capital planning management.  She also speaks on project management related to informatics and EHR implementation.
